Pandemic Neighbors

︎︎︎ Illustrations
Stuck at home, during the lockdown, one can’t find too many activities to ease the mind from getting too bored. Living in the city, it’s quite likely that every now and then we peek through our windows to have a look at other’s lives going on.

Since my neighborhood doesn’t provide interesting stories, on a daily basis, I started imagining how would it be like to be a voyeur, spying on people in their most private moments. In this “voyeuristic” collection I included three illustrations made over the span of three months. Several 🍑 were involved.

For this series of illustrations I decided to opt for an isometric approach as it would have given enough space to detail architectural details, as well as giving space to human details.

Building details I represented are typical of the architecture of my birth city, Turin; it is a mixture of Italian Reinassance, for the most historical houses, and more minimal buildings from the early beginning of the 20th century modern architecture.
